Well, my eBay "bargain" 250r is starting to come together, finally. I won it for $700 with the information that is just needed some cleaning, rear bearings, and a shifter lever. Well technically the description was correct, save for the fact it forget to mention that the suspension, every bearing, left engine case, and a host of other things were trashed. So I said the hell with it and stripped down a bare frame. I had everything you see in the picture powder coated (except shock linkage). Every bearing has been replaced (shock linkages were okay), brand new shock from eBay, and overhauled the forks. I think it's starting to look pretty cool. It's kinda fun to be actually doing a buildup, instead of just reading about them.
Yes, that is a Westcoast swingarm. It sure could use a +4 axle and an aftermarket carrier if you're getting rid of stuff.
