If you are looking for Yamaha rings, try your dealer or check with www.parkeryamaha.com
Anyone know of a new project machine for me around Wisconsin?
Bikebandit has Yamaha OEM oversize as well. I did notice that for your model they only list .50mm and 1.0mm oversize though, which makes me ask if you are certain that its .25mm oversize, and if you are certain that you are dealing with an OEM Yamaha piston.
Olderfox is right, though. Any OEM dealer, including Bikebandit, can get them if Yamaha makes them. You might have to make a phone call.
HI!!!!!!!
that is because the first over size is .50 from yamaha.
wisco starts at .20. KIT#4312M07050 OLD#4312P2
you are better off going with the wisco they make a 10:1 compresson piston kit
for about $94.50
TRIZTUNES!!!!!!!!!!!!
Actually, the kit you mention is .020" which is also .50mm.Originally Posted by TRIZTUNES

Ive never seen one stamped with an oversize designation in inches. If anything, Id guess it means 1.0mm. One sure way though, is either to measure it with calipers, or get your rings from a dealer and take the piston with you. I learned as a kid that when you need new rings, to always take the piston with you to the shop, if you have any doubts about reading it.
