    Fork seal set 86 250r

Anyone ordered the fork seal set from service honda part # 51490-m62-872? I ordered 2 of them but I thought the set included enuff parts to do both forks but from what the parts guy said one set does one fork. I thought that was kind of expensive at $17 per set but I'm not sure what will be included in the kit.

yes...that number is for one set which is one side only and yes they are expensive but i did build my forks with aftermarket seals(ultra seals) ment to be great they leaked after about 3 hours use...so ordered 2 sets from servicehonda.....they have been on the R for many hours now without a leak..... the oem seals are better than aftermarket jobs although they were nealy twice the price

I'll second that. I redid my 350x forks with aftermarket seals and they lasted about 6 trips. The oem seals are 100% better.

Thanks skippy, I'll have to get one of those. By the way, when are we going to get to see that PT 250r of yours?
