    Suzuki Rear Wheel Question.

I recently purchased a rim off of a 1989 rm 250 to put on my 92 rm 250 (parts are interchangeable). Only problem is....when i put the wheel up to the swingarm, with the bushings on each side it is about 1/4 of an inch too wide (i have to open the rear part of the swingarm up), and put the bolt through, and its hard to turn (the wheel that is). i also made a "test bushing" and when i tighten it up, its still hard to turn). Im doin all this with the chain OFF the rear sprocket, and the brake pads away from the rotor....any ideas on why it is doing this?
