When putting in a XR200 6-speed trans. in the '83-'85 200X what year XR will work. Was the only change to the '85 XR motor the top end? Thanks!

Im not sure if the xr 6 speed will work with the reverse kick start in the 200x.
I dont think the kickstart gears match the transmission.

To get the forward kick you can us the 200X kick shaft and the trans. gears from the XR. This swap would involve taking apart both transmissions.
