Seat Foam and Cover -- question

I have a pretty nice (almost new) seat pan for my 350x project and I bought a custom seat cover from CEET. It comes with the seat foam too (which is good because both are discon from Honda). My question is...what do you guys use to adhere the foam to the seat pan? Is there some sort of spray adhesive that I can get to spray on the pan before putting the foam on and stapling the cover? Thanks in advance.

Rubber cement or 3M spray adhesive will work. You can find the 3M adhesive at most good auto parts stores. Its basically rubber cement in a spray can. Spray each peice and let them sit up to where they are tacky before you put the two together.

you may also need to heat up the cover so that you can pull it tight and get rid of wrinkles, expecially up near the gas tank..a steamer works wonders, but if you have an iron with steam setting it will work too(don't actually iron, just get steam close enough to do the trick).

Where did you find the Ceet cover and foam? Is it thicker than stock like some of the ones Hiflite makes? Does the foam seem soft or hard?

Whats the reason for adhering the foam to the pan?

please post pics when you get it covered. I was set on a high flite cover because it says 350x on it and my bike to be recovered is a 85", but if this looks good i might change my mind. Thanks.

My bad guys.....I made a mistake. For some reason I said CEET when I meant Hi-Flite. I own a Hi-Flite seat cover and foam. It says "ATC" on the side....great product. I think I got confused because I was torn for a long time between CEET and Hi-Flite. Hi-Flite seems like the best deal.
