need acceleration!

i want to get some more acceleration out of my 85 200x. it has a wiseco 12.1 psiton and it has just been restored. if i put on smaller tires and a bigger sprocket will this help out alot? also were can i get a bigger sprocket.

if you change the sprocket depending on what one, you either get really good low end and crap high. or good high and crap low

Smaller tires and a smaller front and larger rear sprocket will change your accelleration - but will also cut your top speed - I would also check out the cool article in Dirtwheels this month about "your quads top speed".
