Yup.... 2nd-gear is correct. The speedo has a starting bid of $150US though. That's kinda steep isn't it?

It says it fits ATC 110,ATC 185 ,ATC 200 ,ATC 200E

Would this also fit the 250SX or 250ES? Anybody know?!?

No it wouldn't.... it mounts on the Left side and turns clockwise for the speedo. If you "flip" it to the Right side, it would turn backwards and not work. The hub size might be different as well.

Well... that comes with the speedo mounting kit AND the speedo itself.

Anyone know if the actually diameter of the front axle is the same for the 200e and 250sx?

If it is the same then this could be made to work. As long as the cable is long enough.

What you would have to do is basically mount your hub/brakes/forks on backwards. You can't mount the gearbox on the Right hand side where the "tab" is, not because of the length of cable, but it will make the speedocable turn counter-clockwise. The speedo works by the cable turning clockwise. I know the 110/185/200/200e gearbox will NOT work on the 250R/350X hubs. (It did seem to work on my 82R) I have a 82R kit coming which, ironically, has a gearbox that looks like my 350X coming with it. I also have another gearbox which I thought was for a 350X, but when I looked closer, it turns the wrong direction for the 350X. It must either be a 83-84R or a 200X gearbox.

    $148.17........that's expensive!!

Looks like it..got too rich for my blood.... got to save a few $$$ to pick up a "250R" motor with a strang looking head... ..

I just got a speedo from Service Honda on my doorstep today.... it actually looks "older school" than the ones that say ATC on it... going to use on my 82 250R, since a speedo in 82 was not an option, just the tripometer. I'm torn between being "restoration" correct and functionality! Oh...well, I can swap them back and forth or once I build up a second R, I can rig up the 110/185/200/200E speedo mounting kit on to my R. (both Left side drive, 22" tire) Oh... the price from Service Honda??? about $100 less than that auction!

I have some hardware, but not all of it. I just keep looking. Piece by piece. Plus I got a GPS to mount on my 350X, so the OEM speedo stuff is more for future projects.
