225DX and 200ERN Tank Decals

It looks like the 200 plastic is from a 1985 200ERN like you thought Bruce,

SIDE COVER YTM200ERN (1985)

SIDE COVER YTM200N (1985)

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if Yamaha changed the decals part way through production. The tank cover is very easy to switch so who know if the one they have on their trike is original, that is why I am trying to go by the pictures one this one.

Duh! I never thought of looking at my parts number CD. :o So the 200 chain drive in 85 had different decals than the ERN. Cool!

Umm in my part of the world K comes before L in the alphabet. Making DXK an 83 and DXL an 84.

I know my tank is original it came from the showroom floor.

Good eye...... so we are back to this as a final...

on the tank - 83 DX
ones off the tank 84 DX
the 200 is the 200ERN (knew that for sure!)
