What make of pipe is this guys? Its off a 82 R and the spark arrester is forest service approved. I was thinking about tossing it on the 82 and ditching the DG system I have.

It looks like the factory pipe without the heat shield. I might be wrong but it looks just like the one that i had.

ok, i don't have mine around to look at anymore. The might be a bassani and the silencer looks like an old cobra. I am just guessing thoughNope, its definitly not the factory pipe and silencer, I still have them also.

Judging by the look of the silencer, and the way the expansion chamber is welded up, it looks like a Bill's setup. I dont know if they made them for the air cooled r's, or even if Bill's existed back then, but my blaster pipe looked very similar, but dont go taking that to heart.

The silencer on my 84 Looks similar to that one, but its missing that clamp and is held on with a twisted up coat hangerI didn't even think it was the correct silencer but maybe it is

that looks just like the DG pipe i got from Bruce, we had thought it was for a 83-84 R but i just came in from the garage tring to put it on and it dont fit, its not bent to go behind the frame tube and it goes almost back to the end of the frame... i was sitting ther looking at it and for some reason a 84-85 T3 pipe came to mind, but its been a while since i had my 85 Tecate so im not sure

I think I know what it is, my 1980 Cr 250 has a exhaust just like that. I think that it might be from a dirtbike but im not postive so dont quote me on that one.
Im using that motocrosser exhaust my 84 project, have to bend it though
but she will be different

here's the DG that was thought to be for the 83-84 R but dont fit... towards the end of the pipe there is two welds like something broke off where the flate plate is on yours, its hard to see in the pic... so yours has to be a DG but not sure what its for...
