why isnt sleeving dependable??? it might be if it was a nikasiled aluminum cylinder, but as far as i know the lt's have a cast iron sleeve, which are actually sleeved to begin with from the factory....L.A.Sleeve makes some really nice factory replacement sleeves, i would recommmend them, and an autmotive machine/race shop or a place that builds race engines to install it because you have to line the ports in the cylinder up with the port holes in the sleeve, and then you should have them matched to each other....but if you can find a boreable cylinder that would be the way to go, givin it has a good amount of bores left, if it doesnt, i would just get yours sleeved and avoid a later problem, and you would have ended up buying that cylinder for nothing....
