BigCreenMachine, I was looking at the updates in the Readers Rigs section and I was wondering if you have any photos of you're Tecate with the KX500 tank installed.
I'd really like to see what it looks like, I'm thinking it probably looks better than the stock tank.

Motoboy, I've got the tank and have had it sitting on the frame and there are a few problems with it fitting. First is the petcock, it lays right on the expansion chamber. I plan on running a remote petcock if I can find one to fit. Second is the tank shrouds, they limit the turning lock more than the stock tank. Third is the front mount, with the tank sitting the way I want it I ould need to weld on a large mounting bracket to make it even fit. I think I'm going to put the idea of mounting it to rest unless I find a nice 83/84/85 KX250 tank to mount. The KX 250 may have the petcock on the opposite side.
