    custom tecate pipe?????

well after sandblasting what i thought was a bassani pipe for my 85 t3 i found all the welds to be a weird type, they are goldish and dont really look like welds, is this some sort of hand made factory pipe or is this the way they came.. heres some pics

the goldish colred welding on the pipe mounting tab is actually brazing...which is a brass alloy....im not sure why they did this on the handmade pipes, but my cone pipe like yours has the same thing, and i know PSI's pipes are like that too, i have one on my sled....its definatley handmade, by who? is the question!

The brazing coupled with stamped lower pipe halves and the top section cones, it reminds me allot of the construction of the Bills Pipe on my Tri-Z.
