have a 85 tri-z, traded a 97 rm125 for it that i paid roughfly 800$ for.Tri-z ran and ran good i just cant stand to not tear stuff apart.So i have tore it completly down and so far I have bought
lonestar disc brake hub 74$
lonestar sprocket holder 100+
lonestar axle 350$
lonestar locknut 50$
rear swingarm triple chrome polished 350$
bearing carrier " " " 85$
bothe foot begs " " " 85$
renthal handlebars 35$
new rims 200$
new rear fender 120$
new front fender 60$
new front headlight cover 40$
brake and clutch lever (asv) 120$
new sprockets 50$
new front tire 55$
and then we get to bikebandit for bolts, seals, bearing, etc. etc. about 600$
entire frame powdercoated black 250$
billet banshee hubs 135$
and entire motor polished priceless now I just have to start putting it back together for 2006 Tf about $3000 invested so far should be one of the nicest tri-z's when done

Well,i know i'm pretty close.I believe mike from vintagemotorsports has got me beat.Not sure on chainsaw's end though.I did ride it at TF '04.If anybody wants to ride it at TF '05(i know jay,lol!)your more than welcome!

For my one SX I paid $700 and put another $50 in her for a front tire. For my second I paid $500 plus $300 for a new engine which has a slight crack in the side case. And my last one I got I piad $1200 (well my dad did) and replaced a rear tire which now needs a tube put in. In total I have probably $2800 in all 3.

mom just added up my credit card purchases. and then i added in paint and the crank i had done and price of 200x and im at 1700. damn does the lil stuff like seals bearings nuts and bolts add up on you.
