well i gotta say..i had the right timing before i even put the flywheel on ut was nice to ride that beast again..it is so much more powerful too..doing donuts in 4th!!!..it also started rigth up and didnt burn any oil..i was so happy..the only bad part is that it leaks oil really bad..im talking a quart in less than an hour..not good..i need to tighten my bottom end bolts..i guess i didnt do it enough when i had to fish out the wristpin..can wait to get that 200x tank..put the engine on the x and be really nice!..ill also get a dg krome or alloy exhaust..there loud and nice! i pat my self on the back for gettin runnin in about 10 minutes from puttin the stator on..and it doesnt have a pullstarter so im going to have to stay away from water for a bit.(and the snow that just came ) but ill ride anyway!! whats another 10 bucks for a stator? lol

great ! first week of august the wife + i plus a couple of friends will be at badlands for 4 days or so . hope you have the 200x auto done by then.

yea i hope so too..guess what just happened..i was racin my friend down the road (just because) and it either jumped timing or my stator is going out again...it sounds like the stator again cause its done it 2ce to me..no i still dont have my pullstarter on it because i dont have one cause the guy didnt send it..so i guess the 185 is dead agian..im going to go rip it apart here soon..wish me luck guys..i really hope it aint the stator..if it is im be p!$$ed off!!!

ya know its great you got it running, but this is kinda funny as sh!t that it keeps doin that, have you been chagin the flywheel and stator as a pair?

this time i did..im tired of d!ckin with it so im sendin it into the shop 2 morrow..its the stator but it did also jump timing..lol..dam pos..while its there its getting the new countershaft and a 13 tooth front sprocket, 200x complete head assembly from jug up..new all around seals,STATOR, lol, and new rk o-ring chain, maybe even a uni clamp on, and twist throttle...im just tired of dealing with this thing..o yea and a different clutch, mines going out but i got another from a 200s engine ..thats also where the counter shaft is coming from..i aint about to pay 300+ for a new one..pretty much ill just say a complete overhaul for the dam thing..it probly needs it..the piston im putting in is a 12:1 wiseco 2mm overbore for a 200x which means about what 67 mm?? so yea its gonna be a beast when its done..and really hard to pull the starter!!! but it will be in good working order and i wont have to worry about breaking anything..when i pay for that im going to get the 200x project going..this s motor is killing me and im tired of it..so its getting done professionally..wish me luck about a bill for under $200...thatll be about 700 total into that dam 185

i decided not to send it to the shop for some reason..i really have no clue but i think its cause i need to learn how to do it myself and i dont want to pay the labor fee..lol..for all the stuff i have on my list im getting its gonna be expensive..so im pullin the engine off and orderin the stuff thursday after school.. i get paid monday so it should be here by tuesday...im going to have a machinist i know do the headwork tho..i dont have any of the tools i need..i plan on buying those too eventually..well not a cnc machine but u know a tool kit with what i need..lol..but yea i need to learn how to tear into the cases myself so im going to be learning soon..wish me luck as i have no clue how to do this and i dont have a manual..i dont understand those anyway..

I find the easist way to find out how stuff comes apart and togeather is by looking at diagrams on bikebandit.com works good =) good luck!

yea i know..bikebandit or partsfish ..both good sites..but if i order any more stator coils im definitly buying one again from hyperparts..even tho it didnt last 4 hours..it was my fault..it was only 16.95 shipped so its all good..heres a list of what im getting for it and what i have tto put on while its down

13 tooth front sprocket
stator
tubes in the spider trac tires
200x complete head
12:1 wiseco-67mm= +2mm stock 200x
new cam chain guide and tensioner
did cam chain
rk o-ring drive chain
200s clutch
110 main and 40 pilot jet
200x shift lever
complete oem honda gasket set
new wiseco rings for that piston-doesnt have them

hows that all sound?? the reason for the 200s clutch is because i think my 185 is wearing down and the 200s had more grab then the 185s anyway..i think..i dunno i may leave it..it did 50 before it screwed up so i may be alright
