oil out the crank case breather?

ok on my 200x im getting oil shooting out the crank case breather. little squirts of it. all over. what is causing this. to mich oil?

well I would check that first... did you put too much oil? ..
Hmm if its not that .. I am sorta confused .. unless you have alot of blow by. which you shouldnt seeing as you just did your topend .. unless you did it wrong.

im going to pull the case cover off and check the oil filter too. than drain the oil out and put in lil by lil to make it perfect.

what. what seal woudl this be? all were replaced. got a parts fish pic and number of the seal.

If it was a crank seal it would be leaking oil from the crank. I think you are confusing things with 2 strokes.

It is normal for a little bit of oil to come out of the breather but not an excessive amount. You NEED a piece of hose on the breather so that if it pushes oil out it can have the chance to suck it back in as well. It also stops dirt, sand and mud from getting in. Check it by running the host into a clear plastic bottle like a drink bottle and go for a ride. If it is definately still outputting alot of oil it can be caused by a number of things.

-Alot of long high reving like road racing
-bent conrod
-badly worn rings
-restriction in the breather path

whats a conrod? crank rod? where would i check for the restriction in the breather path. its got a new piston. it does shoot it out i have that tube on there i would always notice a lil oil sitting under the bike but it was where that hose was. it would leak out. like some would build up in there than sit and slowly drip out.

conrod=connecting rod=the ROD that CONNECTS the piston to the crank

didnt find it yet. been at school and basketball. ill get to it sunday. what should i look for. first thing im going to do is drain it out and only put in a quart or untill it is level.

My 250sx would do that when I popped wheelies because I had too much oil.
