Thats sweet but what about when you wear out the rings or accidentally melt the piston or rings?

OR, you could take that 200r piston to a machine shop and get multiples made!

Why not see if 4-stroke 200cc rings would fit it? What difference would there be between piston ring sizes?

I wonder if a set of rings for a blaster would fit?

I must be missing something? Why would you want to sleeve it down to a 200cc? That was originally done to make it legal in a 200cc class. Since 200cc trike classes no longer exist, I dont understand the purpose. Its going to be a lot less expensive buying the right piston kit for your cylinder, as opposed to making your cylinder fit the piston you have.

i would have to agree with timsr...... completely pointless, unless you were making a vintage racer for a museum.....but it would be cool to say you have a 200cc 250r that has parts you cant get anymore in it....idk my opinion....

If your that hardcore about doing this, there might be a possible way to get the air cooled R cylinder fitted with a blaster sleeve and piston, but would probably be cheaper to just put the blaster motor in the frame.

He has everything he needs to make it a 200cc oldschool racer except for the sleeve. Finding the sleeve may prove to undo your project. Contact Wesico and L.A. Sleeve and start asking questions about any old sleeves or about how they can help you.

I always thought that they destroked the crank to make a 250r a 200r. Or did they resleeve and re-bore it? Or both?

Biggreenmachine you said he has everything but the sleeve. You forgot he doesn't have a bike either.
