    350x Questions

On the wirring harness, Is there portions to this thing? reason I ask is, previous owner lopped one of the plugs for the headlights of and tried to rig another one in. So I need that but I dont want to have a whole new harness put on. Would hope it would disconnect so i could get that one piece.

Next question, I always see These block off plates for the Parking brake on ebay, What purpose do they serve and does any one have a pic with it on, cause I cant find where it would go

    Thanks - Morgan

Racers use the block off plate to remove their parking brake so that it doesnt get accidentally put on during a race, and to shed some weight.

The block of plates are really nice. I have them on almost all of my Hondas. They bolt to the rear caliper in place of the factory parking brake. Most parkig brakes do no work or are missing. This helps protect to part of the caplier piston and seal that would usually be covered by the parking brake.

That is correct. As far as the wiring goes, why don't you go down to radio shack and just get some new connectors. If the wire is to short, then butt splice a new one on.

I don't know if it comes apart in sections or not.

The reason I need the new harness is because the factory plug is not there.
They snipped it off and lost it, Then put some other type on there to see if it would work. I am pretty sure it didnt work. So I need to getthe correct plug. Id rather not install a whole harness, but I doubt ne-one would clip it off so that I could have it.

OIC...You said "plug" and I was thinking "connector" not "socket". Well then good luck!

Could you post a pic of the wiring issue you are having? There are a couple connections around where the headlight "pigtails" connect that are on every 350X that you don't need, unless you are like me and have the speedo AND tachometer!

ok, so in these pictures you can see where they actually spliced in a different socket for the bulb. So I only have one original and dont know what bulb would go in the other one.
Also Im not sure if they are the same voltage watts etc,.

So i am trying to get back to 2 factory sockets.
If anyone can help, has the parts i need, please throw in your .02,
    thanks - morgan
