Donate them to someone, Im sure someone has a need for them. Throw it up in the classifieds section as a freebie, Pick Up only if you dont want to ship them, might make a good set of riding plastics for some one who has a pretty resto bike and doesnt want to risk the good stuff while they ride, its just a thought.
Hell if i lived in CO Id be looking in your trash so I could so some retro fitting to those to fit my X

If the crack is spreading you need to stich them up with wire. Do you know what I'm talkin about when I say rabbit wire? lol Its thin wire thats super strong. Anyway drill a few small holes on each side of the crack and lace it with wire like you would give someone stiches.

CUT EM! Who Cares what everyone else thinks!?!?!
I used to cut on mine as they were chiping off in back all the time (Paddles were smack'n before rear shock rebuild). Just used a jewler saw and went for it, then would sand the edges so they weren't so SNAGish / sharp. Keep em even on both sides though IMO.
