    350X Top speeds?

    What would the approximate top speed be with 18's vs 20's on a 350X? on an R?

    A 350X with 20 inch tires will do about 55 MPH

    With 18's it will do about 50MPH

    Maybe he doesn't know...that's why he asked Also,trikerider,you have it backwards.Running 20's will get you a higher top speed than 18's

    thank you for your useful reply,,,is 8250 the proper rpm to use, the reason i ask is cause i have used that same calculator on my 400EX after i have checked it with my gps and gotten totally different top speeds,,,i know that the calculator is in the ball park,,,thanks alot

    I'm not sure, i could check my shop manual and see what redline is, but i dont know if top speed comes at peak tq or hp, they tend to drop off after the tq peak and feel slower. It's probably close enough for a stock bike.

    what is the rpm's the 200x uses?
    1974 atc 90 project underway cuzzztom

    1985 atc 110 for sale

    84 200s all original got off the first and only owner
    new carb
    maybe putting my 200x cam in it but not sure

    Elaborate on what u mean. for a gearing calculator? I havent found one for the 200x but i never really looked either. The calculator doesent work off just rpm.

    i bought a nos 350x engine and just broke in it did 65 on a bushnell radar gun(same model cops use) with stock rear tires and gearing. with 20's you would be lucky to hit 60 depending on if they were rounded tires or flat

    with 18s and 14/36 gearing my 350rx was clocked at 65mph....and this is my low gearing.
    80s......185 atc, Yamaha tri-moto 200, 85 200x with tons of work
    90s......89 Suzuki quad racer 250 (raced 250 A class for 6 years, late 90s.. custom framed 250x with long travel shocks and a built 350x motor.... built Honda 110
    00s...... chomeoly framed 350 RX with all the goodies (thanks to my bro)
    2012.....Replaced the 350x motor for a 444cc YZ426

    It also depends on if the 350x is a piece or not.....
