thank you for your useful reply,,,is 8250 the proper rpm to use, the reason i ask is cause i have used that same calculator on my 400EX after i have checked it with my gps and gotten totally different top speeds,,,i know that the calculator is in the ball park,,,thanks alotOriginally Posted by HRC1

I'm not sure, i could check my shop manual and see what redline is, but i dont know if top speed comes at peak tq or hp, they tend to drop off after the tq peak and feel slower. It's probably close enough for a stock bike.Originally Posted by TravEX
