Im thinking about grabbing this trike as it is close to me. What I need is some honest opinions on what you think about it and whats it worth. I know I take a chance of letting someone here grab it, but hey thats Part of the Game.

Anyways I would appreciate your help. Thx

200S and big red are different trikes.

The S is chain drive. the big red is an ES and is shaft drive.. this one looks like an S.

for under 200 $.. hell grab it. needs a lot of cleaning, but looks ok.

plastics are shot.. obviously, tank looks ok tho.

    Don't buy it just yet!

Im confused that it is an S but can't see the sprocket in the rear? It looks like a shaft drive to me.

    1) Find out if the tank is badly rusted inside. Him or you look deep inside with a flash light all the way back to petcock or as far as you can. badly rusted it will need a kreem job. Cost about $30.00

    2) Definitly flip it up (stand on rear wheels) and check the frame for bad rust or any cracks. Some of these rust out REAL bad underneath depending on where they were kept. will need a complete frame repaint job if so. (thats what I would do anyway) If you look close it looks pretty nasty in the rear but it's just too hard to tell with the poor pictures.

    3) The pipe may be all rusted also.

    4) May need brakes

    5) May need carb rebuild kit....... more then likely it will. Air filter might be totaled.

    6) See if it has good compression & check the trans as to how it shifts. Check the oil level.

It all adds up really quick!

I just bought one 2 weeks ago for a freind. It was a good deal but needs the frame painted (which really isn't that big of a deal). DON'T TRUST them (the sellers) when they don't have good close up shots!!!!!! Most of the time they are hiding something or take them farther away just so the bike looks a bit better then it really is.

One thing that really hurts is the seller knows nothing about it what so ever.

Here is the deal I got. Came with an extra motor minus the top end. Should clean up quite nice but it's in worse shape then the picture would have you believe.

That's definitely a 200s. You can't see the sprocket because there is a chain guard on it. It looks real rough, but for the price you might be able to fix it up for a couple hundred more.
