I would recommend re-jetting. There really is no magic jet number that will work for every single case. What you should do is: Try one that is 5 bigger than the one that came stock in your carb. Give it a good, fast run down a long road. Shut it off and coast to a stop. Pull the plug right then and there and look at it's condition. If it's white, go even bigger. If it's tan, your jetting is right. Black, too much jet.
