    heres something for the clumsy woodworker

    i saw this in the WOOD magazine, its pretty amazing.
    Its not that much more expensive than a regular table saw, when i go into the city they have one at the wooden edge, im going to go see the demo.

    WOW!! thats one of the neatest things i have seen in terms of woodworking! who ever came up w/ that idea, and its mechanical working has my jealousy...lol. I BET HIGH SCHOOL SHOPS ARE GOING TO BE HUGE BUYERS OF THIS PRODUCT!

    Thats like the saws doctors use to cut your cast off.It will cut the plaster but won't harm your skin. I never knew how it worked though.

    It says it measures the radio frequencies. cutting wood is a differant frequency than cutting flesh, i think the real amazing thing is how it stops so fast.

    I wonder how often it ruins a good piece of wood, to be that sensitive it must faulter once in a while and quit cutting 1/2 way thru a rip...

    That is amazing! Trikezilla is right, school boards would be stupid not to have that just with the number of kids who loose fingers every year, we had one kid loose a finger to a router and another to the bandsaw last year!
