Man that is just sick. Looks like a little more paint touch up on the left case is all you have left from what the pics show. That thing is a freakin' museum piece. I'd be afraid to ride it.

Yeah I have been working on the thing. I am going to leave that case alone. I tried touching it up but screwed it up. I'd have to repaint the whole thing...color matching is too hard.

Your R is close to mine man. An afternoon with the touch up paint and they would be impossible to tell apart! Except yours is alot faster!!

Darius as I've said you have a show bike. I'm working my way to all stock. I tried buying an 86 cover from service Honda and when it came in it was all black. This black part # now supercedes the old according to them and the grey is no longer available.( Similar to the situation when you order the passion red tank you get black) I couldn't find the one color you recomended at my auto parts store so they had an alternative that looked close. I pulled the stator cover off and hand scrubbed it under hot water in the sink with steel wool to smooth it and dish detergent to remove all remmnants of grease. I then proceded to to very light coats. The can has no stickers like you would find in a walmart with a color code or color description. If anyone is interested in the next couple of days I could drive back and see if more info is on the shelf. I am very happy with the results.

Other smaller or lesser known companies, such as Tiger ATV, Franks, and Cagiva, produced racing three wheelers, but in much smaller numbers. Few of these machines are known to exist today and are highly sought by collectors.

That bike is so clean, even micro organisms put tiny booties on their little feets before walking on it! I'm sure of that.

I bet way back in 1985 not even honda in their wildest dreams thought people would be drooling over their little 250 three wheeler in 2005. Thats people power for you!

My R is way beyond touch up paint. The photos are kind to it. Not that it looks bad at all or anything. It's just got fading and chips on the frame and scratches in the plastic that don't show up much in pics. I'm slowly trying to get it up to your R's level though. It's probably going to get a full face lift this summer once it gets too hot to ride (assuming I have the funds to do it).
