    Honda Super Sport motorcycle

Has anyone ever owned, ridden, or had experience with a Honda Super Sport? My dad has one at the back of his garage that has set for 15+ years. He has been storing it for a friend but he has given me permission to have and ride it if I fix it up. I'm guessing it is an 80's model, it looks real nice but has no compression. I think I'll mess with it, and see what all it needs and if it is nothing to major I might take this task. Ill get pics this weekend when I'm over at my dad's.

this is basically what it looks like except there is room for 3 sets of footpegs (1 set on the center of the rear wheel, the normal set by the shifter and one set inbetween). It is a 400 by the way.

ok I narrowed it down about a decade and have discovered it is a 1975 Honda CB400F. The one in the pic is blue while mine is red but it looks so beautiful. Go here to get some nice pics of this bike http://www.cushdrive.com/75CB400F.html

Yeah if it isn't getting any compression then it is a good chance it is a valve. I had to replace one of the valves on the 350 I was working on, somehow it bent slightly.

My brother has a '79 CB750 super sport but I haven't had the chance to ride it yet. I have ridden my neighbors CB750 custom. I was suprised at how smooth it was. The nice thing about the old CB's is that there are just so many of them out there that parts are easy and cheap to find.

My stepdad was talking about the rings getting froze to the cylinder or something and that might cause no compression, so I'm supposes to put Ring Freze I think its called in where the spark plug is. Ever hear of this stuff?
