I bought a 125m motor off ebay and threw shipping it got broke
The arrow is pointing to the broken part its between the cdi cover and the head it looks to be aluminum anyone know the part name?
I was thinking its the acuall cdi?am i correct?

hard to see on that pic, but is the crack in the head itself ? or the black cover.

hey, there's no oil in there, so a little silicone to keep the dirt out, unless it's going to be a show bike. that part should be the same on 90/110 if you want one.

it cracked and fell apart i can see a gasket where it mounts to the head so jb weld wont fix iti guess i need the entire cdi assaembly that mounts to the head to fix it

who'd you ship with ? some shipping companies carry a minimum claim amount, I work for Purolator Courier in canada, and we offer 100 $ insurance, even when not indicated on the label...

It came fed ex i put a claim in and they said they will come get the engine to determine if its there fault or not i was looking on ebay and found some cdi parts for the bike they arent to expensive so it might not be worth letting them take it.
The entire cdi comes off the head right? if it does its a easy fix

I think i figured it out its the pulse generator and it does come off the head so thats all i need to replace because the head isnt damaged.
