    Tri Z carb??????

I am boring my 85 Z to a 70mm. Would I get a power increase by going to a bigger carb? If so what other bikes have a bigger carb that will work? Because there is a small atv shop down the block and this guy has lots of bikes that people abandon cause they didn't wanna pay the repair bill, he told me I could go through them and get parts off them very cheap. So will a bigger carb off another bike work and if so which bikes?

I installed a Keihin off a 85 250r in mine, seems to run alright, I had to lean out the main jet a couple sizes. You will need to snag the choke off an aircooled R to get it on the right side though.

I'm running a stock carb off an 85 R too, mine showed a noticable increase in midrange power. I didn't bother with changing the choke out, I just reach under the pipe to set it!
