    Feb. 20th Harescramble Results

Just starting this thread for everyone to respond to, the other one is way too long!

I'll let someone else fill in the details, but I will say we all kicked some butt today and we had a GREAT turnout.

Lots of pictures were taken, so they will be coming soon!!!

we had four teams show up,so thats 8 bikes, also speedbump was part of our group on his sweet t4.it was way too muddy for my prefrence, but was still alot of fun.

congradulations to tim sr.,and derrick.they snuck by us again to take first.max and i rode our tails off,but i had my chain popp off and cost us a lap.i swear if things would
quit messing up we would be right there with em.they bet us by about 3/4 of a lap.

everyone else also rode very well, and we all solidered through 2 hours of mud.the pics will show the extent of it.

thanks to everyone that showed,it was a great time.i can't wait for the next group outing!!!!!

Here is a few pics. None of me though I wiped out early and played pit crew the rest of the day. Boy it was muddy. Everybody did a great job. Congratulations go out to Derrick and Tim Sr. for First place in our class and I believe fourth overall and to Brandon and Max for second place and fifth overall. A special cudo's goes out to my team mate Torre ( I hope I spelled it right ) who ran the rest of the time after I bit it. He ran 17 laps solid on his own. Can you say IRONMAN. It was great to get to meet some of the people that I talk to on here you're all a great group. The first pic speaks for itself, the second is Brandon (threeleggeddog) and the third is Tim Sr.

howdy and i expeienced are share of proplems his 350 went and i had a clutch lever bend to the point that i couldnt reach it to get her in we still did good we got 17th overall and rode 1hour and 15 minutes again i apreciate the fact that speed bump drove from pa to come out and race this event to support our cause. And for everyone who came and race can say this "man it was muddy, but that was an excellent time." overall adding up all the times i have raced i have never felt more comfortable thsan tody. and for all who came lets do her again. as long as they let us ride then we should ride. And they welcome us there. For those of you who need parts for other trikes go to races with a trike. A guy came over started talking to us about trikes and said he had an air cooled r motor and a 200x just laying around at his parents house. once again i really enjoyed it and i am glad to have met new people, and hopefully next time there will be a better turn out then last.

Henceforth, Tabdude shall be know as "Irondude"! I was impressed. Even after that nasty spill on the downdrop he kept on going like the energizer bunny. I was going to whine about how slipperly my grips were until I noticed his were gone.

Ive gotta thank Team Honda, Brandon and Max, for one heck of a run. We had to work a lot harder for it, and it was a very narrow margin.

It was a real pleasure meeting those I hadnt met before, and hope to ride with again soon. A special thanks to Speedbump for making a long trip to be with us.

Ill also thank our surprise guest! I had this feeling....

Yes, It was quite the interesting day. I originally wanted to go to just be there and to provide Adam a trike ride. But I was talked into running it myself. It was worth it though.
It was great to meet everyone and then to spend some time on the track racing with and against them. It's a feeling I haven't ever had before, and might not ever do again ( only time will tell ). My body is still complaining.

To everyone that showed up ( I am bad with names ): I am Truely sorry I couldn't hang around much after the races. I really did want to stop and eat with you all. But I needed to get back and get some sleep before work. I did make it back around 7:30-8:00 PM and got about a hour sleep before heading off to work. I was moving at about 10% at work. You can be sure "IF" I run another race like that one, I won't be going to work the same night. lol

    Funniest
The last lap was funny. TimSr was about 250-300ft from the finish line on the last lap and all of a sudden he was running the track. He finished the last lap on foot. Come to find out he ran out of gas with only a short distance to go. In Tim's words: "That last stretch was the hardest part of the whole race." I have to agree, the mud was too much to ride in, let alone running 250+ feet while in totally mud soaked clothes. That is what you call giving 200% to the team.

As soon as I get my pictures developed I will get them posted. Hopefully jmack3986 has one of the camera's. If you got it let me know.

I can't wait to see everyone at TF05!!

    Howdy

P.S. The TF04 Helmet really come in Handy. I wore it with pride even after it was totally covered in mud. The bad part is right now it's Mud colored with a few white sprinkles. lol I couldn't imagine running that race with my old one. I am sure I wouldn't have done 1/2 as good.

Thanks, So much Tim--You and Derrick really rock as a team. Congrats on Fifth, I'm definatly the one impressed. Nothing feels better than passing quads that are stuck in the mudddddddd-- or have just slid off the track. Everyone who showed did a great job and really turned some heads. Don't worry Seadoo you'll get them next time and Thanks for the help in the pitts. It was really cool to put names with faces and I was really glad to meet everyone.

Sore,Tired,And a garage full of muddy stuff--But it was a blast
