What does my trike need to get into silver lake?

I have an 85 250R with a no-name aftermarket silencer with no spark arrestor. It is really loud and crappy sounding, what do I need to get into silver lake? I want the cheapest route possible. I know it has to be 93db and spark arrested...

a stock pipe should work, they really enforce the limits there, my buddys 350 makes it in at 90 decibals also need dune flag and orv sticker seem like its $5 to park

you can buy a slip on spark arestor but I have seen alot of them fall off on the dunes. I picked up about 4 one day and turned them in at the gate. I just run a fmf silencer that has a screen in it. I have never had them check the decibles and have never seen them check anyone else in the line. They won't let you on the dunes if their probe will go into your exhaust.

What aftermarket silencer has the sparky? All the FMF's I see for the ATC dont have them.

Do TRX silencers fit the ATC?

Turbine core has the spark arrestor built in. No, the atc and trx silencers are not interchangable without modification.

Your best bet is to repack your silencer and by a sparky that fits your exhaust. Last time I was there my Z passed the sound test at 93db and they told me not to come off the dunes or they would red flag me. They stick a pole up your exhaust so if you stick a screen up in your silencer they will let you pass. It all depends on who is working that day.

I took my 350x there last summer and got checked at 96 and they let me in. I havent had the R there in about 2 yrs, but i run a turbin core for the FMF and have a q silencer waiting in the truck in case it doesent pass tech, then i go switch em' and rejet. They are turning into sound nazi's up there. I just try to keep the revs down when i see em and smile.

The sparky you can buy of ebay right now for 60.95. As for a screen in your silencer it depends on the model. They are getting bad up there because all the new residents that live there say it is too loud. Well what the hell did you move next to a toy heaven for.
