Put a diff brake light on the SX

Well when I was at the local Auto Zone I picked up some parts for my car and trike. One of the items on my list was a new brake light, and then I saw it. This was as close as they had to the original in there. But man did it take a while to make it fit.

I had to go back to all my metal I salvaged from old computers I tore apart and ended up using the piece of metal that holds the floppy drive in place. I drilled holes in that metal, and screwed it in the bottom, of the top holder for the battery. There was already a factory made hole so I said why not. I then drilled a hole through the plastic front and rear of the light. Put a big ol bolt through that and the rubber holder that was there for the stock light, and Vwala. Let there be light.

Looks great, probably cheap too. I notice the ATC250R tailights only fetch about 20$ on EBAY, I think I'll try one of those but may grab myself an Autozone one if I can't grab an R.

yeah it was really cheap. Like $4.00. It is super bright too. Shines up to about 20-25 feet.

To a point. sometimes they'll say something just to bust my balls

Oh and forget about the 500 there was a 800 there (its the one with the dual exhaust. But the 500 blew me away in a drag. it wasnt even a challenge for him.

Looks good, I bought one at a bike shop and mounted it to my battery box on my old SX.The LED s were pretty bright.

the light right now is like one flower on a thorn bush. I hope to redo atleast the cosmetics by the time trikefest comes around but if not ill just power wash the black paint off.
