I have friend that is in need of a carburator for her daughters "Yamaha champ 100"....she really doesnt have a $180 shes being quoted for a new one so I told her I would try and help her find a replacement. I have never seen the bike but the guy she got if from tells her its an 83. Anyone know what carb is on this bike and where to find a resonalbly priced, servicable used carb?

I would tell your friend to hunt for either a 18mm or maybe a 16mm mikuni vm carb. The 16 came on the 80cc badgers and raptors, and the 18mm came on the 125 breezes, etc, so either of these should work with the proper jetting I would think just fine.
