Just curios Reno but how did you get your Avatar pic so big? Is it some ancient Chinese secret to get it beyond the 100x100 allowed?

Read the threat on the top of the open forum for resizing your pictures. It takes you through step by step. It really is not rocket science you know?

Pics have to be less than 300 pxls
Avatarts must be 100 or less

Follow the insructions and you will get it...good luck

Nope no Chinese secret, Just a typical resizing with alot of extra compression. I beleive they up'd the allowable file size for avitars to 200x200? I might be wrong.

I know how to resize a pic. It's a piece of cake. I was just wondering how Reno got his beyond the 100x100 size. I've tried and it keep telling me I'm beyond the allowable size of 100x100. I was hoping to show a little more roost in mine . Maybe it's because he has such a nice pic of his 250R. You know pic discrimination....... .

Actually, in the Irfan View program, when you go to save the file you notice there is an option where you can increase the compression of the image. Thats how I did mine.

You could always put it in your sig. No size restrictions that way. Just keep it reasonable so it doesn't annoy people.
