'83 250r with Honda 300cc Kit...

I've got a Hondaline 300cc bigbore kit for my '83 250R. The cylinder is slightly scored and I need to get it rebuilt. I thought I remembered someone here saying they had talked to someone at Wisco and said they could make them if they have a minimum order of 10 pieces. I don't need 10, maybe 3 (for future use). Does anyone know what LA Sleve can do????

What were you running for a pipe and carb on that 300r?

i belive you can also trim down a fl 350 piston to fit,,,, not sure tho how much the skirts need to be trimmed.....i know someone on this site knows!

it's 3rd over but if you have sores on the bore then just get someone to bore it out to the right size...

hey! someone should buy that and send it to wiseco and have the pistons made and sell THEM on ebay and on here...

If you have around $4000 to place the minimum order of 24 from Wiseco, go for it. That is what stopped me from trying. Wiseco says 24 is minumum order. LA Sleeve will redo topend to use newer piston for around $500 - $600.

Someone in another thread said there was someone in Seatlle area that had the 300R pistons available... can't remember what thread, but it was in the past couple weeks. Think it was one about 300R head gaskets.
