stupid question...

I have a question since I am new to not only this forum, but 3 wheeler's in general.
Whats the big deal about Tecate's? Are they just extremely fast or handle well or what?
I was just curious what the seemingly huge attraction was.
I have only recently heard of them, Is Tecate the company name or model?

A Tecate is just Kawasaki's 250cc race trike. Their version of a 250R or Tri-z. Power and handling between the big 3's race trikes were comparable. The 86-87 Tecate was the one with the highest top speed but there was only a few mph difference seperating 1st through 3rd.

I don't see how you get the idea that there's some huge attraction above any of the others though. All of the performance trikes are sought after.
