    Putting better suspension on an '81 atc250r

    well, I really need better suspension for the dunes, will a later model 250r front end bolt up easily, or is alot of work needed. Has anyone tried anything like this? Does it raise the front too much? Thanks

    Yes, Ive seen people put the 83/84 Front End on the 81/82's before. it raises to a comfortable level It looks like. I wouldnt use an 85/86 front end though (1. Price, 2. Large)

    Someone on the site, who went by the name of Percy, used a 85 frontend on a 82. His machine is in the readers rides section somewhere, probably around page 6 or 7.
