R skid plate on 200S. Any after market alum. ones fit? Can U make one?

Just wondering if any after market for some 4 wheelers might possibly fit on with just slight altercations.

Anyone capable of making them? A 1/4"-3/8" guage aluminum one would be so much nicer. No paint, no rust, stronger by a good margin and look alot nicer too.

I have the stock 200S skid plate which is fine. Rusted real bad but will clean & paint up fine.

This is just something that I'd like to know. On my 250X that was the only after market thing I did to it. Held up much better then the stock one and believe me, if you ride at Tower City or Paragon stock won't cut it! Rocks everywhere! An aluminum one is nearly 3 times as thick!

The yamaha has heavy guage bars instead of a whole plate. Much stronger and won't pack with mud either. I'm going to have my 225 re-enforced with a few cross braces to make it even stronger. One of the bars is bent slightly but that can easily be straightened. Diamond plate going between the bars would really be nice also but then it might turn into a mud packer. Hmmmm, diamond plate........yes that would look nice!
