yeah but what is it? He says 87 in the title and at end of description he says the frame is an 86 with a new coat of paint on it. Was the paint made in 1987 ergo the frame is now an 87 model? lol I thought 87's had their own 1987 frames. But it could still be a good T-3 with some TLC. OK a lot of TLC![]()

Could be a late 86, which would make it an early 87. I kinda think that the price is a little steep considering that it comes in a couple milk crates...........

There are 3 kinds of people in this world, Those who make things happen, those who watch things happen and those who wonder what the hell happend.
From being in the middle of a 250R restore and tecate restore and trying to by miscellaneous tecate parts from the dealers and seeing limited supplies on ebay I say the 86 & 87 Tecates in 10 -15 years will be the tigers of today (Not that rare but close). Rebuilding an R is a cake walk compared to the T3. Think about it you cant even buy aftermarket stuff for the tecate . So for people who plan on being in this for awhile and like to plan ahead Its not a bad deal. It goes back to my saying "Those who call you a fool for what you pay today will call you a hero in 10 years." A believe me as long as were all around 3 wheelin will never die!!!

Other smaller or lesser known companies, such as Tiger ATV, Franks, and Cagiva, produced racing three wheelers, but in much smaller numbers. Few of these machines are known to exist today and are highly sought by collectors.
