They're bad if the surfaces are very rough, burnt, or have buildup on one or both contacts. They can be filed flat, but they really should be replaced.

yeah ill replace them its only 6 bucks and i wasnt getting a spark on my 90 but i was getting a nice shock tho and some 1 told me it was the condenser, is that the problem?
Replace them. Since the condensor is under the flywheel why dont you just replace points then see if this does trick. If not then grab a condensor. Heck at the 13 bux they are throw one in tool box till it is needed.

na the condenser is on the coil on the 90 so its easy to get to so ill just replace it, and im redoing all the wiring and i took a meter and put it on ohms and took the coil and put it on the black wire and touched the green wire that doesnt go 2 ground and there r hooked up, then i touched both green wires and they r the sme and then i did the black wire and its the same, is that normal that all wires that go into the coil r connected to ground in the coil?
