both sides did this over two weeks, ordered a new top end from eastcoast atv, the guy there said someone may have over did the porting on it (thin walls)

Ouch!!!!!!!!. It dosen't really suprise me though. Suzuki's are known for their light weight - but - that light weight is a compromise on cheap aluminum and steel. That dosent look like its from poor porting though - Polaris 400L motors do the same thing when they are modded out pretty well, its actually from the head twisting under torque. They sell a cylinder girdle just because of it.

I saw that happen to a friend's Zilla. All his work was done by Duncan...after some grinding and welding...good as new save for the appearance.

so, did ecatv do the porting and warrantee the top-end or did you have to buy a new one?

nope it was on the bike when i owned it.
i dont reber th eportign btu i had it before i worked at eats coast.so thats kinda ruled out.

yeah, i had to go out and get a complete top end, i will get this fixed as a backup
