2.11 here in West Michigan. What we need to do is look for alternatives to oil but that would make the the oil tycoons that are in high positions in most of the world's major companies and governments angry!!!!

I paid $1.87 for unleaded today. I see diesel $2.05 for onroad, and $1.64 for off road diesel. We put that in our F-250, as it saves us quite a bit without the taxes!

well, i never really pay attention to gas prices, i fill up once a week and its usually only a 3-5 dollar fill-up difference when prices fluctuate, so i just cut back on the pepsi for the week and i save the money i spent on the gas....

$2.00-2.08 here in MN. I think that half of the price jumps on oil is a bunch of BS and it really sucks because there really isn't that much we can do about it. Everyone needs gas, and they will continue to pay for it. Not Bush's fault, but I wish that he would tap into the reserves like Clintion did, I think that would help a little. Doesn't help that my Daily driver gets about 10mpg on a good day also... Lets just hope it doesn't reach the "expected" $2.50 a gal this summer.

Its about $1.95 here. Only $1.90 at Kroger with their card. I cant remember what diesel is...I havent looked lately.
I remember when it used to be $0.65 cents for the cheap stuff and the Premium was still under a dollar!

Well Bush is at it again, raping the American people to pay for his dads war in the gulf.At this rate we won't be able to afford the gas to go to Trikefest!!!![]()

Yes Tim he could do something about it but he will not! Todays current price for gas that they allready bought that is in the tanks under the pumps $2.23 an hour ago it was $2.13 when they bought it, $2.01. Nobody can justify that being right to me.What will it be in the summer?
Not everyone is a republican or a millionaire.Remember one half of all Americans who voted, or close to that voted against Bush.He probably does'nt even know how to pump his own gas more less pay for it.

I've got an Idea.... Start a chainletter. Send it to everyone you know. Try to get it to media and the big pigs or uh wigs wait no pigs at these oil companies. I know there was one floating around on the internet a while back to not buy fuel on a certian date. That aint gonna work cause they know we will be there the next day or week. I'm talking starting a chainletter and state that if the oil companies DON'T do something by a certain date (say june 4th) then one company or station will be singled out nationwide. Then if nothing is done by say July 4th (independance day) then nobody and I mean nobody buy fuel from said company. That should at least get some attention. If one of the big guys thinks they are going to be boycotted, and if everything goes right, potentially put out of business then they might listen. They get rich off us so we got to hit them in the pockets . We are the only ones that can do something about the cost of fuel because they rely on us to buy it. What ya think? Anybody else got any ideas?
Oh yeah, the cost of fuel in central Ohio is $2.19 per gallon for economy grade. I hear it will be at $2.50 plus by summer. I'm tired of deciding between eating and getting gas.
I have to diagree. We're getting ready to start drilling in the Alaskan wilderness now which is going to of course remove some dependance on foreign oil. Things are going to get better but it wont happen over night.Originally Posted by atckowalski

I personally boycot BP or British Petroleum (they bought out Amoco). Here is a little information if you don't know anything about them:Then if nothing is done by say July 4th (independance day) then nobody and I mean nobody buy fuel from said company
British Petroleum Company PLC or BP PLC (since April 2000) is an oil exploration, extraction, refining and sales company. Following its merger with Amoco it is the largest company in Britain and the third-largest oil company in the world. BP's London division is valued at around $50 billion.
