Going to Install YFZ450 Rear Tires on My Z...Advantages?

Has anyone tried out the new radial dunlop KT335's that are OEM on the new YFZ 450.

I am going to get a set and put them on my Tri Z. These are radial tires...has anyone else put radials on a trike?

    Possible advantages? Disadvantages?

    Thanks!

My friend has them on his YFZ and they don't hook up very good in loose dirt, he hates them.

    Hmmm....well they do look cool.

Any other tires? I have the Banshee stock tires on my Z.

I want something thats OEM on newer Yamaha's. I don't care for the Raptor 660 tires either.

I still maintain that radial tires are a bad idea on trikes. After putting one of the front of my Z, i'll never do it again. Way too stiff to work effectively on a light weight trike.

I've got radials on the back of my 350x, off a z400 (same as the raptor) and they work great. Front tire is stock Ohtsu. Very smooth ride and still have good sliding ability and traction too. I'll never go back to a bias tire. I don't think putting a radial on the front would do much over a regular, but the back tires made a huge difference.

I also have the Raptor/Z400 tires on mine and I love them. They've got great traction, even in the snow and they're wearing quite slowly for OEM tires.
