What's the last year that 3 wheelers were made??

I know that trikes were sold in other countries after they were banned here in the U.S. back in '87. What was the last year that trikes were made for any country? I'm curious as to when Honda and the other companies stopped all production on trikes. I've seen pics of 1988 trikes, are there any '89 or '90's that were produced?

Yeah that's what I figured, I'm assuming the market for them in other countries wasn't nearly as high as it was here in america...that would make the dealers realize that it would not be worth it to keep making them.

Seems like I read somewhere, that there were still some new ones sold from dealers in South America/Mexico right up to say 1991-92, but they were just old left over models from 87-88.

I'm pretty sure '88 was the last year they made them. In fact my friend has a '88 Big Red...For all we know it could've been the last 3 wheeler to roll off an assembly line!
