    Yet another 450R pipe - 350X

Here are a couple of (crappy) pictures I took of my TRX450R muffler on my 350X. It had a Cobra headpipe and Cobra megaphone (way too loud) exhaust. It still has the Cobra head pipe. Now it looks sweet and sounds nice too. I still have to relocate my rear brake resivour and replace my copper "smush" rings where the head pipe meets the head, it is leaking there.

All it took was some time with a cutter, grinder and torch and some patience. The pipe on mine mounts directly to the rear grab bar hole (with a spacer).

Where did you other guys that did this mod put your rear brake res.?

    Thumbs up Nice!

Since every installation of the 450R muffler is a little different, this may not apply to yours but.....
I gently bent my resovoir mount and that provided enough clearance.
I never had any problems with the rear brakes from the exhaust install.

Have you installed the HRC tip in that muffler yet?
It sounds SWEEEEET on a 350X.
Quieter than your old Cobra (but what ISN'T quieter than a Cobra? ) but louder than the stock 450R.

    Best of luck!
