My first T3!

Got this bike for free!! Its a 84 KXT 250 A1..Needs alot of work to say the least but the motor runs perfect!! And i was really shocked how fast this thing really is..I can now say i own a T3 ..
Parts it needs that i know of so far..Front and back fenders,gas tank (Green)Front and rear lights,radiator,Grab bar,Pegs,Clutch and front break levers and god only knows what else LOL.....Hopefully i can still find alot of these parts! If anybody could point me in the right direction that would be awesome...Never owned a t3 before so im kinda stoked i got one now..I posted a few pics of it so you guys could see it....Let the teardown begin

Friend of mine had it and his old lady told him to get rid of it LOL....He said if i could haul it away i could have it...It will be fun rebuilding it...

First thing to address is the radiator. That looks like a twin from a dirtbike.

I miss my 84.

I've got stuff...I just got 2 84 T3s with boxes of parts. I also got a 75-80% complete 84 T3 that I'm going to sell for parts. I'd prefer to sell the whole thing at once though.

Actually i got a radiator coming right now..Found one on ebay for 20 buck.............Now im looking for fenders!!

Awesome. I have a spare tank...looks green underneath the red. I am gonna clean it up too...when I get some time. Keep the progress pics coming...

Not sure what an OEM fender goes for, but the red one has a factory fender on the front. Maier on the back...

would you have a spare front or rear light maybe? And im looking for green plastic...

I do believe there was a rear light with the white socket part and wiring and a red lens...I'll have to get back to you to make sure it's all there and not broken.
