    350x - 250es?

I was just reading the posts on the crate 350x motors in the ebay forum. I was looking at the 350x motor and then got to thinking. The cylinder/head looks very similar to that of the 250es/250sx. The only major exterior diffrence being the dual headpipes. I wonder it it would be possible to interchange the 350x head/cylinder with the 250es one. Ofcourse you would also have to change the crank etc. Does the 350x have the same stud pattern on the head? However if my judgement serves me right this could be a feasable swap. Who has an opinion on this subject?

    Imagine a 350es/350sx

te 350 cylender and head are massive compared to a sx/es cylender and head, and is nowhere even close, but an almost direct bolt on is a hinda trx300 4x4 cylender andf head for the es and sx bottom ends

    Hey Matt

Hows the 1 Tonner rebuild going!!!
Heard of a guy up in QLD importing trikes, could maybe get you a complete 350X, might have to save your tokens a bit first though!!

    Hey Ric,

The tonner is going alright. I actually bought a HQ statesman deville for parts the other week for 100 buks. Lots of good parts for my ute and for selling on ebay. 308 mated to a trimatic auto. Im gonna just keep the 253 for now though. Maybe I'll needa get me a 350x sooner or later. How are your projects? (if any).

    Cheers,

    Matt

I own 1 of each and can tell you that the biggest difference I see at first is the cam chain is on opposite sides from the 350x to the 250sx.

    Hey Matt

Not much happening up here, good score with that statesman, should look good with the De-ville front end on the Tunna!
You going to be able to drive up here for a ride soon now that you have wheels??
My suzuki Mighty Boy project is at a standstill, just got to get some motivation somehow!! Doesn't look likely in the near future!!
