    200x engine difficulty

    well up to now i had thought that i had known everything there was to know about rebuilding a 200x engine.. thought wrong.. not so much as the rebuild but as in the starting the motor after a rebuild. heres my problem ..i have a 67mm size pistion in my 200x with a 105 jet does that seem to small? ... my engine will not start. the timing is correct its getting gas. however im trying to start it with reaguler 87 octane feul ... but shouldnt it start?. its getting spark and i just reajusted the valves to what there suposed to be. small amounts of gas is spitting out the carb also.... somone please help me with this im so frustrated i have to much money into it not to be able to enjoy it

    its normal for it to take sometime to get it going after...if everything is correct, some new spark plugs.....if you can have someone pull you behind a truck or car with a rope...or another quad whatever,.....sometimes it just takes that little bit to get it going the first time....so i have seen sometimes...,also you have the air screw set right? should be 1 1/2 - 2/ 1/2 turns out for starters.....
