    200x not starting :(

okay, i finally got time to put the tank on (of course i flushed it, it looked like there was mud in the tank) and everything cept the shifter n chain, and i spent 20 mins kicking it over, but with no pop, not even a weak spark feel. is it possible my coil or cdi is junk? i don't know anything about cycle ignitions as they aren't my thing, but they're surely you guys's things can you guys help?

I have no spark on my 200x either. check the plug on the cylinder head with a couple good kicks to see if there's spark.I got a primary stator coil for cheap from hyperparts.com gonna give that a try. If that don't work I'm gonna replace spark plug, plugwire, cdi and the wire harness. It's gotta be one of those you would think. Dam 200x's!!!

Nevermind... sparkplug is good. i had a loose wire from the CDI (had to reconnect it with crimp style sleeve connector) and it's got spark, and nice compression pop. only thing is, it won't turn over, but it will fire each time i kick it. no exhaust might be the culprit, but i dont know, this is 4-stroke it's not like it's 2. but anyways, the kickstart finally stripped out (stress crack broke) and now i need a shifter, kickstart, and header

somewhat, i've worked on alot of lawn equipment (weedwhackers and push mowers) and was real big into nitro r/c cars around 2001. try .15cubic inches, 30,000 rpm, at 1.2hp

but what is it you need with 2-strokes?

and i'm getting the kickstarter welded tonight. if ANYONE has a shifter and/or header, i'll be greatly appreciative of you if you wanna unload it for a few bucks
