A stock 86 250R has 36 to 38 hp. With those mods that you described you will be at 40 to 45 hp. It all depends on how good you jet it. If you really want to know than put it on a dyno.

    In stock trim, both the 85 & 86 250R's produced 39 hp.

Perfection consists not in doing extraordinary things, but in doing ordinary things extraordinarily well.

Anybody that tries to answer that question on here will just be taking a wild guess. I'd say upper 40's maybe if it's tuned well but like I said, it's just a guess.

    Here you go; http://www.macdizzy.com/trx_dyno.htm

It has simmiler mods, just a bigger carb and a fmf pipe. The porting is the big thing, then the cool head for compression changes.

Peak SAE corrected HP as measured at the rear wheel is 53.3 with the high compression head and 49.7 with the lower compression head.
    Sounds like yours should rip.................

Damn !, that question was meant for me to answer. Answer your own damn questions! Good answer though. I couldn't have said it better myself. I know you've heard this before, but I love your screen name. I sound just like that when I'm working out in the garage.

Working in the garage, driving in rush hour, watching a basketball game, stubbing your toe... it's such a universal word.
