    what's with all the "*'s" lately?

    every post i see is full of *'s now. anyone know why?

    Yea I *'n noticed that the other *'n day. I think it's pretty d*mn annoying. Wouldn't suprise my if my *'n post isn't filled with the son **'s. S**t man, I guess it's getting so *'n bad that we needed some sort of d*mn filter. I mean "What the **** you gona do?"


    Actually, it seems to block simple words like "you".

    it blocks all the damn anoying short hand like you spelt with just a "*" so peoples post's are more legibil..

    Use this post for a SPELL GUIDE!!!
    If people could could learn to spell simple words like "you", "your" "you're" "before", "be", and "are" , no *'s will show up in their posts. It even allows the incorrect use of "your", "you're", and "youre" interchangebly yet it still baffles some who are more "challenged". If you see a * or a ** in somebody's posts, it should be read as warning that the poster is not capable of spelling these simple words semi-correctly.

    As soon as people who insist on writing in retarded shorthand can pass the above spelling test, we can take those things back out of the filter. You might brush up on this thread as well. http://www.3wheelerworldforums.com/s...ead.php?t=9639

    ok, so say a new guy joins 3WW, new people join everyday as you probaly already know, they have no idea about the filters. Their posts are filled with ***********. I think that is pretty annoying, more anoying than putting the letter you. So you see, you will never get rid of people doing it.

    well, i think its pretty stupid that you "moderators" if thats what your called had to install this sort of thing.....i have only had trouble a couple times reading posts, a couple meaning 2 posts...its no big deal, its easier to write shortened words and stuff its no big deal...sounds like you guys(moderators) are a bunch of pansies that failed english class and can sound out some words, and some of the members are kids or older guys that use one finger to type, you cant expect them to sit there forever going over their posts to fix them!.....sheeesh!

    Maybe not, But we can sure try. With the "*'s" being more annoying, then maybe other users will help these guys to stop doing it.

    I think its pretty stupid to imply that moderators are stupid, personally attack them, and call them names on a message board. Would you like to edit this post????
