help!!!
i have recently got an 83 honda 200E running, and my best friend messed it up for me, now i don't know what to do. i need to know everything that has to do with the firing, because it quit firing. i know of a couple things, but i want to know everything that could have somthing to do with the firing. anyone know, send me a list to my email at n_pierce18@msn.com also, it would be nice if i could get a manual, but i can't seem to find one, anyone have one or know where to get one cheap?? thanks

Manual -= E-bay or auto parts store.. denniskirk.com etc. Canadian Tire in canada.
what problem do you have exactly ? what happened ?

82 ATC - 200, plain jane, almost mint. ( Sold, 03-17-2005)
84 ATC - 200 ES, Jimmy-Rigged, don't ask.( Sold, 03-17-2005)
85 ATC - 250 SX, Pride and Joy, Bottom-Less Money Pit.

hey, before we go through all the stuff, check the kill switch, wouldn't be the first time.

yeah, i checked the kill switch. my friend said he was riding it, and it just quit firing. he then took it all apart, it looked like he had stripped it, i was pissed when i returned and it was like that. after we got it all back together, i continued to see what the problem was, i do not know a whole lot about 3wheelers, but i do know some. i just need to know what all makes it fire. i know of a couple of things, but i want to know if there is more, so i'll know where to focus. thanks

we need to know what he took apart... that's the source of the problem right there !

well, what he took apart is all back to the way it should be, but it still won't fire, like it wouldn't before he took anything apart. so someone, anyone, i just need to know everything on a 3wheeler that has to do with it's firing. please let me know, anybody!!!!!!

well...the toe bone is connected to the foot bone... the foot bone is connected to the ankle bone...the ankle bone is connected to the leg bone...

Do a search on here for " Spark " or " No spark " " Electrical "
There is " Everything " on here that you need to know, your question is not specific enough.. you'd be reading a book if we all started guessing at everything and anything.
Wich parts of the electrical did he remove ? were all the wires taken out ? etc......
There is the CDI/timing advance unit , a stator, all these things and a whole lot more involved.
gotta find the main reason it quit in the first place too...... process of elimination.

problems with firing!!! in need of a "know it all"
ok, i have posted this before, and no one seems to know, so i'll try this again. i have a 83 honda 200E, it quit firing, and i need to know of everything that could have to do with the firing, i know a little, but i need more, so i'll know where to focus. anyone that has an idea, let me know, ASAP. just the basic list of things to check, to get it to fire would be nice please??!!

check for short in the wireing harness. and check the flywheel key.. i went threw like 3 of um this year. and make sure the timing marks line up..... get a manual also.

remove the plug, put it on the wire and touch the spark end to the cylinder.. crank it over and look for a spark.
start there i guess.
ps: Double posting might be an issue... LOL...

Why do you say it's " Fire " related ? what have you checked so far ?

thanks to all, i will be sure to look into all suggestions. and as for why it quit firing, not sure, that is what i am tring to figure out. i hate that it happened with someone other than myself, that what i get for letting a friend ride without me around. thanks again to all.
